The 36-hole golf course at the Dolomitengolf Resort, comprising two excellently maintained 18-hole championship courses, is probably the most beautiful in Tyrol. The golf course was awarded the highest quality certificate 5-star superior by the Federal Association of Golf Courses (Bundesverband Golfanlagen, BVGA). The course has been conveniently designed on flat ground. Itis therefore easily walkable; a quality our guests particularly appreciate during their golf vacations. The mild weather conditions on the southern side of the Alps are positively influenced by the climate of the Adria region. Consequently, our guests benefit from an extended golf season from end of March until the end of October, in an altitude of 675 meters at the foot of the impressive Lienz Dolomites. Look forward to daily changing course combinations and rounds of golf amidst intact fauna and flora, featuring countless large ponds. Sophistication and relaxation are in the focus of your unforgettable golf vacations in the Dolomitengolf Resort on the south side of the Alps.
The Dolomitengolf Academy, one of the most professional and successful golf schools in Austria, offers courses in small training groups for beginners and advanced golfers. Thanks to a variety of course packages, you are able to easily get your proficiency certificate under the competent supervision of our experienced golf instructors, or efficiently train with the TrackMan. The golf courses will be adapted to your skill level and form a pleasurable part of your memorable holidays in East Tyrol.
Silver: the new highlight
Volvo Course
The 9-hole VOLVO Course impresses by its stronger modulated fairways, undulating greens as well as large ponds and bunkers with very fine sand. One of the highlights of the course circuit opened in 2017 is the signature hole (hole 3) with its beautiful island green, directly in front of the winter garden of the Dolomitengolf Hotel & Spa.
Green: the longest 9-hole loop
Falstaff Course
The Falstaff Course is a challenge for players of all handicaps:
at hole 2 (par 5) a frontal water hazard has to be tackled, before the fairway opens up in front of you. With 428 meters, course 5 is the longest par 4 of the Dolomitengolf and a challenging hole, due to the strongly undulating green. The tricky finish consists of a spectacular double green (hole 8) and a par 3 (hole 9), very well-protected by trees.
Red: the popular 9-hole course
Keuco Course
The red KEUCO Course is popular with many guests, as it is not too difficult to play and can be easily mastered with shorter tee-offs. At hole 2, an attractive double green is played onto, over a large pond. The “dog leg”-hole 7 (par 5) leads our golfing guests directly along the modern affiliated hotel Dolomitengolf Suites. For many players, the finishing hole number 9, leading up to the clubhouse, is the most beautiful hole in the Dolomitengolf Resort – even though many a ball has disappeared in the large, frontal pond.
Blue: a tactical challenge
Kleine Zeitung Course
The 9-hole loop of the Kleine Zeitung Course has various tactically difficult tasks in store for you: at hole 3 (par 5) the course is divided and you can opt for a longer shot across the pond, or play the ball safely. At hole 7, a difficult tee shot through an aisle awaits you, before you can master the rather short par 5. Due to the well-protected island green, hole 8 in turn requires a precise stroke.
